The Foreman Process is "Different"

Hello and welcome to the Foreman Builders Process explanation. In these pages I am going to explain how we work with our clients, using our signature process with the main steps of Educate, Design and then Built.

My name is Tony Foreman and I am blessed to work with and lead our team.

Our team will build your custom home, and makes that process of building your home a pleasure. Although not present in this picture, we consider our premier subcontractors part of our extended team. With a few exceptions these subcontractors have been with us over 10 years. Each are established reputable businesses that offer 24 hour customer service.

Many people think that the only difference between custom home builders is basically the price, the quality of the end product (as in materials used and how neatly the home was built) and maybe if they liked the people they dealt with. And of course,  how close was the final amount you spend compared to the initial budget.

This though, although important, ignores a very important element...  Unless you have been building custom homes your whole life, you most likely do not know what you do not know.
What exactly is your dream home? Do you even know the things and options that are possible? How does the location where you build impact the shape and elements of your dream home? And when under a budget, do you know what trade offs to make?

In other words, the Process of defining your dream home is as important as the entire building process and the quality of the materials used.
And it is this process where Foreman Builders set itself apart.

Or to quote Tony Foreman: “Using our signature process we educate three times as much so that homeowners can be 100% confident that they can express all their wants and needs essential for designing and building their dream home without any hidden surprises.”

"We were fully integrated into the building process and throughout the build experienced integrity, honesty, and fairness from Tony and his team.

In the end we received a home that has exceeded our expectations in quality, appearance and reliability. We are confident that the home we received will meet our needs for years to come and we could not be happier with it."

customer centered design build process

our process

Here is the process of how we help clients from their wish all the way into moving into the home of their dreams.

This process is called the Foreman Signature process, and although from a 30,000 foot viewpoint it looks similar to what other good custom home builders suggest as their process, there are actually some significant differences.

If you are interested to find out how we move you from point A: where you do not know exactly where you want your home, how it will look, what the financial picture is going to be, and maybe a fear of hidden bad surprises along the road to point B: where you after an exciting custom building experience move into your dream home build exactly the way you wanted, then these pages are for you.

The three stages of our process

EDUCATE: As you can see, we first educate our clients as we have learned that well educated clients are capable of asking better questions, and as a result can ultimately get more value for their money.

DESIGN: Armed with that knowledge gained in the educate phase, we move into the design stage, where our main purpose is to not only have you select and maybe even create the final design of your future home, but do that in such a way that you will have a budget that is unlikely to give you any unwanted budgeting surprises once we are building.

BUILDING: Of course the 3rd and final stage is the building process. We make sure you are involved as little or as much as you desire every step of the way!

Yes, the process of creating a custom home has a lot of overwhelming choices in it, but we have a process that is designed to lead you through the right amount of detail, yet never overwhelming.

The team guides your through, step by step, all the way, always leaving you in control.

Our search for a new home in this area, while returning from Colorado to live near our children and grandchildren, spread over much of Virginia, southern Maryland, and northern West Virginia but as we narrowed our needs the focus was in Clarke and Frederick Counties . We were interested in a new home as we were recovering from several repairs on used homes but we did not know any builders in the area. We turned to Google for “best builders” to see who was out there who might build us a home near Winchester.

We read several positive reviews about Foreman Builders which lead us to a meeting with Tony Foreman. During the meeting we learned about his organized and disciplined approach to the home building process, his history in the custom-building business and determined that he had several models that would be ideal for our lifestyle. After our meeting and visiting one of their completed homes we were convinced that Foreman Builders would be our ideal builder.

Working with Mr. Foreman and his team during the construction process has been a most positive experience from start to finish. His sub-contractors have all delivered excellent professional results, answered all our questions, and confirmed that they are proud to work with Foreman Builders because of their commitment to excellence in all aspects of the building process. We were fully integrated into the building process and throughout the build experienced integrity, honesty, and fairness from Tony and his team.

In the end we received a home that has exceeded our expectations in quality, appearance and reliability. We are confident that the home we received will meet our needs for years to come and we could not be happier with it.
